Startup of the Week - VonCrank

by Startacus Admin
Whilst availing of vehicle breakdown and mobile repair services can be pretty much the norm for many car owners, it can be a very different story for cyclists - until now that is.
Our latest Startup of the Week is on a mission to ensure that cyclists have a support service that they can call on in their moment of need too.
VonCrank is an on demand service for bicycle repair, servicing and accessories. The VonCrank app allows users to connect directly with local experienced bicycle mechanics near them. Whether it’s something fairly simple such as a puncture or you need a full professional service for your bike, they can help. The VonCrank mechanics can come to you - at home, at work, or wherever you happen to be. Also, fear not as all their bike mechanics are fully vetted and experienced so you can be fully assured that you’re in safe hands.
The entire process is managed through the app - from the initial booking through to payment for the service.
In fact it couldn’t be easier!
Of course if you happen to be a bicycle mechanic, the VonCrank platform and app can be a great way for you to get some new customers and grow your own service too. You can even get any parts that you need at trade prices directly via the app. You’ll not be committed to undertake any assignments however, but you’ll always be alerted to any jobs in your area or vicinity.
We like what they’re doing. A lot!
