Startup of the Week - Vakay
by Startacus Admin
Let’s face it. Whilst it can be exciting planning a holiday or break away, it can also be a bit of a chore. Whether it’s comparing the various flight options to our chosen destination or checking out the latest hotel reviews - it can be both time consuming and a tad frustrating. Now however thanks to our latest Startup of the Week, finding a holiday that suits has just become a whole lot easier.
Vakay is an innovative new travel search engine which is providing a smarter way for us all to discover and book holidays.
How you may wonder?
Well...quite frankly...it’s because they’ve made it so simple.
They’ve identified that there are basically two main factors at play when we’re all booking a holiday, namely how much we’re willing and able to spend and when we’re looking to go. In essence then, budget and dates are the only things which really matter!
When using the Vakay platform, you simply enter the budget that you’ve got per person and the dates when you’re hoping to travel. Vakay will then come up with a range of options to suit your needs. The beauty of this of course is the fact that you’ll discover destinations and accommodation that you may not otherwise have even considered. Then there’s the fact that by using Vakay you’ll be saving yourself so much time! For that reason alone, we reckon they’re on to a winner.
Vakay is a simple idea and it works.
We like it.
Lots.
