Startup of the Week - Upside

by Startacus Admin

The innovative FinTech startup that is on a mission to use the power of Open banking and data to help us all effortlessly grow our savings...

Our latest startup of the week has recognised that very issue and has created an innovative solution.
Upside is a FinTech startup that is on a mission to help us all effortlessly grow our savings.
Firstly, you link your bank account, and then the Upside algorithm works out how much you can save on a daily basis. It also automatically collects cashback for you when you shop at some of your favourite brands. Your savings therefore automatically grow without any major effort from you!
At the core of this startup is the recognition of how valuable our spending data is. Generally, when we buy something, money goes to advertisers, or affiliate publishers etc. However with Upside and the use of Open banking, this money is given back to us as customers.
Upside has not fully launched just yet but if you’re interested in finding out more, you can apply now to get early access.
This innovative startup will also shortly be embarking on a crowdfunding raise with Seedrs so if you’d like to invest and help it develop and grow, you can apply to get priority access to do just that right now.
Even if you don’t choose to get early access, or invest, we reckon this is a startup that is most definitely worth keeping an eye on …
Your bank account will thank you!
