Startup of the Week - Twickets
by Startacus Admin
Twickets, the free app & website enabling fans to buy and sell tickets at no more than face value.
Let’s face it - we’ve all been there. Tried to get tickets for the gig of the year only to find that they’re sold out in a matter of minutes. That of course is frustrating enough, however when the elusive tickets immediately appear for resale online at highly inflated prices, it’s even worse. It always seems to be the case that ticket touts and scammers are the winners and the diehard fans lose out. Well that is in fact something that our latest startup of the week is on a mission to address.
Twickets is a free app & website enabling fans to buy and sell tickets at no more than face value.
As with any marketplace site, you simply browse what tickets are for sale. They have tickets available for all sorts of events - from music festivals to comedy gigs. Payment and delivery of the tickets is all co-ordinated through the site.If however what you are looking for isn’t yet listed, you can set up an alert and then as soon as it does get added to the site, you’ll be notified.
All tickets listed are sold at face value or less - no more getting ripped off and paying ridiculous prices because you simply cannot miss that gig or show.
If on the other hand you can’t make a gig and want to sell your tickets on, this is the place to do it. You’ll be selling your tickets to real fans and you’ll at least know they’ll be appreciated.
Check out the Twickets video below to see how it all works. It’s so refreshing to see an ethical business in this space, wouldn’t you agree?
Twickets - we doff our proverbial caps to you!
