Startup of the Week - Tonsser

by Startacus Admin

Football scouting just became a whole lot easier - for players and clubs alike, thanks to Tonsser - the innovative app enabling young footballers to showcase their skills and talent...

Tonsser is an innovative app which is giving control back to the people who really matter - the footballers!
The premise is very simple. Young footballers can use the app to showcase their skills and their achievements.
They can upload videos and track and record their performances thereby enabling clubs and football professionals to assess what they are about. Of course whilst the app primarily aims to help young footballers get discovered and connect them with opportunities - whether that is a trial or a place at an academy, it also aims to help them to monitor their own performances more effectively.
Originally launched in Denmark, Tonsser is now expanding across Europe and therefore is further expanding its reach and its football “shop window”. Young footballers can get on the radar of football scouts easier than ever before.
For clubs and scouts, the app is also really effective in terms of the time and money that can be saved. Although traditional football scouting is likely to always be required, there are obvious benefits to using a service like this to supplement and support existing recruitment methods.
We love what Tonsser is aiming to do - it is a service which helps both players and clubs and that can only be a good thing.
Innovation in the beautiful game… Tonsser we’re loving your work!
