Startup of the Week - Swogo

by Startacus Admin
Online retail is here to stay and if you are involved in e-commerce you’ll be only too aware of how competitive it can be. In that respect therefore, online retailers are no different from traditional high street merchants - every penny counts.
With customers becoming ever more savvy in shopping around, it’s vital therefore that online retail businesses do all they can to not only provide customers with good value and service, but that they ensure that they generate as much money (and profits) as possible from those customers.
Our latest startup of the week is on a mission to help online retail businesses do just that.
Swogo is a SaaS startup which is providing the “first automated bundle solution for leading e-commerce retailers”.
In essence, Swogo replicates the up-selling and add-ons that most high street sales assistants are trained to do.
For example, if a customer visits your site and wishes to buy a camera, Swogo will recommend a bundle package instead - a camera + lens + case. The bundle suggested will always be matched to the customer’s needs, offer real customer value and most importantly will help you increase the profit margin on each of your customer’s transactions.
You may not necessarily need to attract more customers to your site; it may just be a case of ensuring that you are maximising the profit you make from each of your existing customers.
Swogo can be integrated in a matter of minutes on standard e-commerce sites. Minutes well spent when you consider the positive impact it could have on your sales.
It’s a simple idea but a very clever one. Wouldn’t you agree?
