Startup of the Week - Stowga

by Startacus Admin
For many businesses, lack of warehousing and storage facilities can sometimes become a major challenge, particularly if it is only required for a temporary or fixed period. For other businesses however the reverse is true - they may have much more storage space than they actually would ever need.
Warehousing challenges such as these are exactly what our latest Startup of the Week are on a mission to address.
Stowga is an online B2B marketplace that enables businesses requiring short term storage to connect directly with businesses with excess storage capacity.
To use Stowga, it’s simply a matter of searching via the location you require or by the size or quantity of space you need. Whether you need somewhere to store a single pallet of stock for one week or you need a large space for at least a year, you can find it via Stowga.
Right now there are over 4000 warehousing spaces listed on the platform - across the UK and Ireland and we would expect that Stowga will be expanding overseas in due course.
Stowga features all sorts of warehouse options - from specialist storage for Dangerous Goods and Pharma through to temperature controlled spaces for chilled and frozen goods.
If you are a business owner and have excess warehouse space, you can contact the Stowga team, have your space listed on their marketplace and thereby generate revenue from what is effectively an unused business resource.
Stowga is providing a simple yet oh so innovative solution to a pretty common problem that many businesses face.
We like it. Lots.
