Startup of the Week - SpareFare

SpareFare - The lowdown on the marketplace for non-refundable flights and holidays...

Our latest startup of the week have recognised this very issue and are on a mission to help.
SpareFare is an online platform and marketplace which enables people to sell their non refundable flights, holidays or hotels.
A pretty simple premise but a good one, wouldn’t you agree? The only stipulation in using it is that your airline, travel operator or hotelier must allow name changes.
Most low-cost and many standard airlines allow this with simply an admin fee being paid. You can then resell your flight and get either a partial or full refund.
Where hotels or package holidays are concerned, you need to check with the holiday operator or hotelier and if name changes are permitted, the same thing applies.
Simply list the flight, hotel or package you wish to sell and then prospective buyers can start to bid.
SpareFare handles the transaction and monies are all transferred via Paypal.
Rather than losing out on money that they’ve spent, sellers can get either a partial or full refund. Buyers on the other hand can very often get a real bargain!
It really is a win win for all concerned!
