Startup of the Week - Spacebase

by Startacus Admin
If you’ve ever been tasked with arranging a meeting or workshop at somewhere other than your normal place of work, you’ll know only too well that it can sometimes be a bit of a chore. If said meeting or workshop happens to be in a city or country that you’re entirely unfamiliar with, it can become an even greater challenge!
However, it’s a challenge which our latest Startup of the Week is on a mission to resolve.
Spacebase is a global booking platform for workshop and meeting spaces.
Need a quirky meeting room in Paris? They’ve got just the place.
Organising a workshop in Copenhagen? They’ve got heaps of places for you to consider.
Whether it’s for a corporate style event or an altogether more creative and casual affair, Spacebase will have a suitable venue.
The platform is aimed at two distinct user groups, namely those seeking spaces and those who can provide spaces who can use it to promote their venues.
Spacebase is a very user friendly site. Just like travel sites, it’s simply a matter of browsing the platform for a venue that fits your needs, and then completing an online booking. Space sorted? The Spacebase folk will then co-ordinate communication between you and the space owner. All those extra requirements, the obligatory projector, the coffee on tap, the old school flipchart can all be arranged via the site.
As many of us are only too aware, searching for a meeting space can be a time consuming affair and therefore anything which can make the process easier and of course quicker, ought to be welcomed with open arms!
Even if you’re not in seeking a venue right now, it’d be worthwhile checking out the Spacebase site to see the sheer array of diverse spaces that it can offer - spaces which ordinarily you may never come across!
Go see Spacebase for yourself.
