Startup of the Week - Sketchfab

In some disciplines, like design and architecture for instance, 3D modelling is pretty much the norm, yet many architects and designers still have to use standard showreel videos or even screenshots when showcasing their work online. well, until now that is.
Thanks to our latest Startup of the Week, 3D models can now be published and shared online in a truly innovative way.
Sketchfab is a web service where you can publish, share and embed interactive 3D models online in real-time and without plugin.
Simply create an account and upload a 3D model in one of their 27 supported formats. Textures, lights, transparency - they’re all supported. You can add meta information on your model and even embed the Sketchfab viewer on your own site.
The best description of Sketchfab we’ve seen comes from the guys themselves - “it's just like youtube, but for 3D files.” If design is your thing, we reckon you’ll love Sketchfab and if you’re curious to find out a little more about this pretty awesome tool, check out their short video below:
