Startup of the Week - RunMotion Coach

by Startacus Admin

The lowdown on RunMotion Coach, the French startup that has created an app that will be your personalised mobile coaching app for running...

And although running can be a solitary activity, that doesn’t mean you need to be alone. Our latest startup of the week will make sure of that.
RunMotion Coach is a personalised mobile coaching app for running.
No matter where you are on your running journey, whether you are a beginner or an experienced runner, the RunMotion Coach app can become your own digital coach.
Using the app, you can create running goals and a tailored training plan to achieve those.
If you prefer to train on a track or a road or your aim is wellness or performance, your training program will be tailored to suit.
Your digital coach will motivate you to reach your goals and via the automated chatbot, will send you messages to help you do just that. It’s all about inspiring you and helping you to progress. The app offers two plans, a free option and a premium option. With the premium plan, you can even choose the personality of your coach - if you’d respond better to an authoritarian style over a wholly positive style, you can decide what’s best for you. You can also avail of motivational videos and nutrition tips.
Admittedly many of us might use apps to track and record our runs, but this app does something better by providing us with a motivational and personalised coach. The good news also is that the RunMotion Coach app is compatible with many GPS watches and apps.
The RunMotion Coach app was created by 3 high-level coaches in France and thanks to recent seed funding, it is now expanding internationally.
We reckon it’s one to watch - and if you’re a runner, more importantly use!
