Startup of the Week - Quirk

by Startacus Admin
The lowdown on Quirk, the personal finance app that's tailored to your personality and goals
Let’s face it - when it comes to money, we’re all very different. Whether it’s saving, spending or investing, chances are we have very different attitudes and habits. Getting financial advice that’s right for you can therefore sometimes be a bit of a challenge. A one-size fits all approach doesn’t really apply.
Recognising that this is an issue, our latest startup of the week has come up with an innovative solution.
Quirk is a personal finance app that's tailored to your personality and goals.
They have developed a Money Personality Test which takes just a couple of minutes to complete. It uses proven psychological principles to assess what you are like when it comes to managing your finances. The test looks at everything from how you make decisions, your tendency to spend or save and how comfortable you are when taking any financial risks.
So in a matter of minutes you’ll get a detailed report on your financial personality type - The Optimizer, The Explorer, The Artist or The Blissful.
By learning more about your money personality, Quirk will then help you to make smarter financial decisions.
The Quirk app can link with your bank account, help you create a budget, set spending and saving goals. In essence it will help you to both spend and save smarter.
You’ll also get tailored financial data and insights based on your personality type - all with the aim of helping to empower you - no matter how financially savvy (or not) you may currently be.
Quirk is launching publicly in the next couple of months but you can apply now for early access.
We may be almost a month into the New Year but if one of your resolutions was to get on top of your finances, we reckon Quirk could help you do just that.
