Startup of the Week - Powr of You

by Startacus Admin
We’re all pretty aware these days of the fact that we leave a digital footprint whenever we access digital or online services. Of course it’s generally the case that we never actually benefit from the data that we leave behind. Thanks to our latest Startup of the Week however that is all about to change.
Powr of You is an innovative new analytics platform which collates users’ online presence and in turn gives them both personal insights as well as the option to monetize their data.
In essence, if you register on the site, you can not only find out more about yourself through the analysis of what you are doing online but you can also analyse your own activities in comparison with those of your friends. What you do with what you learn about yourself is of course entirely up to you!
But what about the monetization of data you may be thinking…
Well, as we all know, organisations and marketers are always trying to get a clearer understanding of customers needs and desires. And they’re willing to pay for it. Powr of you provides a service to those organisations and marketers by giving them the data that they need to get that much needed customer info.
However, where Powr of You is unique is in the fact that the customer i.e. you can benefit financially too.
Every time that an organisation pays for data that gives them that all important customer insight, Powr of you shares some of that payment with the users who helped generate and create that insight. It’s a win win.
Watch the short video below to get a more thorough explanation into how it all works.
Powr of you
It’s refreshing to see a startup like this that’s not all about exploiting customer data but instead is trying to ensure that those very customers who generate the data get something back.
