Startup of the Week - Popertee

by Startacus Admin
As we all know, the pop-up phenomenon is here to stay and since it offers such a flexible option for retailers, it is easy to see why.
It is not always easy however to source a suitable space for your temporary retail endeavours – until now that is. Our latest startup of the week is on a mission to help retailers seeking popup space find the optimum location to match their business’
needs.
Popertee is a platform which “connects property owners who have vacant space with businesses looking for a retail presence on a pop-up basis”.
The platform is suitable for all sorts of retail businesses – whether it is a large global brand seeking a quirky space for a new product launch or a startup trying to test out the market in a new area.
In essence, you simply use Popertee to search for available spaces in your preferred location on the dates you require and of course by price range. All sorts of spaces are listed – from large warehouses through to small kiosk type units.
Once you find your ideal location, you can then make an enquiry and once the booking has been confirmed, the payment can be processed via the Popertee site.
Of course if you have suitable retail space to rent out, you can list it on the platform and thereby reach an entirely new prospective customer base and ultimately potentially generate additional revenue.
Having initially started in Ireland, Popertee has now expanded into the UK and new locations are being added all the time.
Popertee is not however simply a directory of retail spaces – it is much more than that. Its key underlying mission is to use AI to enable brands to connect with their optimum retail spaces by using behavioural data and social media.
This is a smart startup which will ultimately help brands make smarter decisions.
A win win for all concerned!
