Startup of the Week - PiPcall

by Startacus Admin

PiPcall is a phone in a phone - an innovative telecoms app that's designed for business teams to replace mobile handsets

Our latest startup of the week however has come up with a pretty innovative solution to that very issue.
PiPcall is a telecoms app that is designed for business teams to replace mobile handsets. It's a phone in a phone!
The app works on your team’s personal smartphones but it doesn’t cost them anything.
When they download the app, they will be allocated a separate work number and their own number remains private. When they need to make a work call or send a work-related text, they do it through the app. They may be using their own personal smartphone but nothing is coming out of their personal minutes and text bundle or tariff.
Incoming work calls are identified as PiP calls thereby ensuring that although they are using the same device, their work and personal life are kept separate. What is particularly good about PiPcall is that it uses the mobile voice network to provide full carrier grade high quality calls, something that many other services, especially VoIP or cloud telecoms solutions cannot do.
PiPcall enables you to eliminate the need to purchase or upgrade handsets, buy mobile insurance or pay for device repairs and replacements and thereby make considerable savings on your telecoms bills.
And of course it has a positive environmental impact too, since by reducing the demand for smartphones, it helps to save natural resources and wasted energy consumption.
A win win all round we think!
