Perlego - The EdTech startup which is on a mission to make textbooks more affordable via its innovative subscription service

Confused? Read on…
Our latest startup of the week is an innovative subscription service which is “on a mission to make textbooks more affordable.”
Perlego is an eBook subscription startup which provides users with access to over 200,000 professional and academic publications.
Subscribers can choose from either the Student plan or the Premium plan. The Student plan gives users free access for 14 days and then they pay £12 per month thereafter; the premium plan also has a 14 day free trial and then has a £15 monthly charge.

Perlego can be accessed on all devices and accessed wherever you may be. No more dashing to the uni library to try and get that one copy which is apparently available, or buying an expensive book and only ever reading one chapter to cram for an exam. With Perlego you can access the books you need when you want to and at a much more affordable price.
Perlego is such a simple idea but it makes so much sense. We reckon this EdTech startup is one to watch / read up about. If you want to find out more about Perlego - why not read our previous interview with Founder Gauthier Van Malderen.
if EdTech is your thing you might also want to read up about:
Coursematch - the startup which is aiming to make uni course searching a tinder-styled affair.
