Startup of the Week - PensionBee

by Startacus Admin
Let’s face it - pensions can often be a pretty complex affair and the sooner you get your head around them the better. Of course it’s not something you can necessarily do alone - it’s an area where expert help and advice is often an absolute must. The good news then is that our latest Startup of the Week is on a mission to make the process of managing our pensions easier than ever before.
PensionBee is a FinTech startup which is in essence an online pension manager.
Here’s how it works:
Firstly you select your pension plan - PensionBee offers 3 types of plan - Tracker, Match or Tailored - each managed by some of the world’s biggest investment managers.
You can then add in details about any old pensions you have had - fear not though if you don’t have all the details to hand.
PensionBee will set about finding and transferring these old pensions across. Yep. They’ll do it all for you. No need for you to try and track down your old paperwork or make countless phone calls chasing up info. PensionBee will do it so that within no time at all you will have a PensionBee plan in place with all your oensions consolidated into one.
With that, you will then be able to see everything from your current balance through to what your projected retirement income is likely to be. You can make regular or ad hoc contributions whenever your choose and ultimately be more in control.
The result of course is that your pension will become a doddle to manage! What’s not to love about that...
PensionBee - we love what you do!
