Paid is a startup that helps freelancers and micro businesses get paid for work without the wait.
Here’s how it works.
When you agree to do a piece of work with a client, you set up an online contract with Paid. By doing this, you will then be covered legally and financially, should there be any issues.
Then, when you have completed the work, you notify your client via your Paid account. Your client will then have the opportunity to review your work and confirm that it has been completed.
Once the client approves of the work, Paid will pay your invoice straight away - well generally within 3 business days.
The Paid team will then liaise with your client to settle the outstanding bill on their side. Clients can either pay upfront for the project or pay through monthly instalments. The result? A win win for all!
To avail of the full Paid service, you will pay a fee of 7.5% of your bill. A small price to pay when you consider you will no longer have to spend your valuable time chasing up payments and invoices!
