Startup of the Week - MyFutureNow

by Startacus Admin
Whilst some of us may be pretty clued up and organised regarding our personal finances, there are plenty more who are anything but. This can be especially true when it comes to our pensions. We may forget about policies we once had or have changed jobs so often that we have no idea of what schemes our previous employers had in place.
Help is at hand however thanks to our latest Startup of the Week.
MyFutureNow is a FinTech startup which provides a full pension tracing and consolidation service.
Here’s how it works:
Firstly, you register by entering some basic personal info - name, address and places where you have worked. Then you authorise and agree to MyFutureNow doing some tracing on your behalf - it’s all done digitally and takes less than a minute.
The hard work then begins…but not for you!
The MyFutureNow team will track down all your pension info. They’ll go through previous employers, government websites and any databases where your pension details are held. All the info sourced is then added to their secure dashboard and you’ll be notified when this has been happened. At this point, you’ll then be able to access the dashboard and see full details of your pensions - everything from the value through to any additional benefits or perks attached to the particular policy.
By having all this info in one place, you can then assess whether or not to consolidate your pensions. Rather than having several pension pots on the go, MyFutureNow can help you to transfer them into one pension account.
Your pension will of course be much easier to manage and you will thereby have a better return when you eventually do retire.
Managing personal finances can be a complex affair and therefore any service which can make any aspect of it easier ought to be welcomed with open arms.
MyFutureNow - we’re loving your work!
