Startup of the Week - My Mini Factory

by Startacus Admin
If 3D printing is your thing, then our latest Startup of the Week will be right up your proverbial street.
My Mini Factory is a new online platform where anyone can download, upload or request 3D printable objects for free.
Here’s how it works:
The platform is in essence an online library filled with a plethora of 3D printable files which can be utilised to create an extensive range of 3D printable objects. Fancy a Stormtrooper Pen Cup or Snowflake Napkin Ring? You can get them here.
All the objects featured are original, unique and have been test printed by the My Mini Factory 3D printing gurus.
It’s free to register on My Mini Factory and once you’ve registered, you receive 5 credits - you can then download any of the files for 1 credit. You can request adaptations or even send your own designs to be printed or added to the site. When you add designs or provide feedback on designs you receive additional credits. You can of course buy credits too if you so wish!
Each design file comes with clear how-to instructions so that you can achieve the best print when you go to do it yourself.
Ultimately the platform aims to be filled with designs from 3D designers all over the world and to become a showcase for 3D creativity.
So whether you’re a designer yourself, or you simply fancy exploring 3D printing a little more, My Mini Factory is well worth a look.
