Startup of the Week - MusicGurus

by Startacus Admin
The accolade this week goes to MusicGurus, an on-demand music tutor enabling you to get easy, affordable lessons and feedback from professional musicians
If you’ve ever tried to learn an instrument, you’ll know that tuition is a must. After all, in practical terms, books can never replace the insight and tips that can be gained from a 121 lesson. However finding a good local tutor isn’t always that easy - never mind trying to schedule lessons in your already busy calendar!
Recognising that music tuition is still a tad archaic in some ways and that a little more flexibility is required, our latest startup of the week has created a solution.
MusicGurus is an on-demand music tutor enabling you to get easy, affordable lessons and feedback from professional musicians.
The MusicGurus platform features some of the best musicians in the world, all keen to share through video lessons their skills, secrets and techniques with learners to enable them to improve their skills, playing and expertise.
All the lessons on the platform feature HD video and sound and also a range of camera angles so that you can properly see how instruments are played.
So whether you want to learn guitar or drums, mandolin or trumpet, you can do it with ease thanks to this platform - and at all levels too.
You can also interact and engage directly with artists to get feedback on your own playing and how you are progressing.
Unlike many platforms, MusicGurus does not use a subscription model, instead allowing users to simply pay for the lessons and courses as they want them. The great thing is that once they are purchased, you can access them at any time. Practice to your heart’s content!
With so much happening in the online learning space, it makes sense for musicians to follow suit and this platform seems to be one of the best ways for them (and us learners) to do just that!
