Startup of the Week - miPic

by Startacus Admin
If you’re the creative sort and photography is your thing, then our latest Startup of the Week is probably right up your proverbial street.
miPic is a social platform for mobile artists and photographers to showcase and sell their images.
Using the platform couldn’t be easier.
Simply download the free miPic app, submit your best artography images, add some tags and thereby create your own online gallery. Other users can in turn purchase your pics and every time they do, you earn commission on the sale. That commission can in turn be withdrawn to your Paypal account.
Buyers can choose to purchase prints, canvases, framed art or even phone covers with your design on them.
miPic allows buyers to search for images by location, or by particular themes or styles. With themes as diverse as architecture and nature and styles as varied as vintage and abstract, there’s something for all tastes. Of course, if you’d like to buy your own prints, you can do that too and decide whether you’d like them to be publicly searchable or for your own use only.
miPic is admittedly a pretty simple concept but an impressive one at that.
We’re loving their work...
Go check it out for yourselves and if you’re suitably impressed too, why not get behind their recent crowdfunding pitch.
After all, any platform which showcases creativity and rewards artists at the same time is surely worth supporting!
If you've got an innovative startup, why not showcase it on our Collaboration Space. It's the place to be if you’d like to tell the world what you’re doing!
