Startup of the Week - Metaspeech

by Startacus Admin
At some stage in our working lives, many of us are likely to be faced with the task of presenting to an audience. However, whether it’s an interview, a sales presentation or a pitch to investors, it is not a task that we may be totally comfortable with. Add to that the fact that getting it right is an absolute must and we can end up feeling nervous, anxious and filled with dread.
If that sounds a tad familiar, then we reckon our latest Startup of the Week will hold particular interest for you.
Metaspeech is a startup which is on a mission to help us all improve our public speaking.
However what is most notable is that they don’t focus on what you say but instead on how you say it. With these guys, it’s all about body language and since the founders’ own backgrounds are in choreography and movement direction, it’s an area that they know pretty well!
Their core aim is to help you to achieve confidence in all aspects of your body language - from posture and voice through to hand gestures and eye contact. By working and developing your confidence in these areas, you are then much more likely to be able to captivate and impress an audience.
At the moment Metaspeech offer both one to one sessions as well as group workshops. If you’re interested in finding out a little more about what they do and how they do it, it’d also be worthwhile checking out one of their free networking events - details of upcoming events are listed on their site.
Metaspeech - we’re loving your work…
