Startup of the Week - Love Cocoa

by Startacus Admin
Some of you may already be well aware that this is no ordinary week - it’s Chocolate Week - seven days when it’s an absolute must to embrace all things cocoa-related.
Our latest Startup of the Week are doing just that - however the difference is that they’re doing it the entire year long.
Love Cocoa is a new artisan chocolate service which delivers letterbox chocolate gifts right to your door.
The Love Cocoa team work closely with independent suppliers and producers to source organic Fairtrade cocoa which they then handcraft into the finest quality chocolate. All ingredients used are ethically sourced and the end result simply exudes quality.
This is not all that surprising when you consider that Love Cocoa’s Founder, James Cadbury just happens to be a great grandson of George Cadbury - one of the founders of the world famous chocolate brand! He obviously knows a thing or two about what constitutes a quality chocolate product, wouldn’t you agree?
What’s great about the Love Cocoa service is the fact that all its chocolate bars and gifts are designed with the aim of fitting perfectly through a letterbox. How nice would it be to come home to a sweet gift from Love Cocoa on the mat instead of the usual bills and promotional flyers!
As you’d expect, if you are ordering as a gift, you can add a personalised message and choose your preferred date of delivery - currently this is available from next day although plans are afoot to provide same day delivery in London and Birmingham before the end of the year.
To give you a little taste of what they're about - check out this short but frankly quite hypnotic video of the Love Cocoa chocolate being poured into a mould.
Love Cocoa
Whether it’s a gift for that special someone or simply a little reward for yourself, we reckon Love Cocoa would be well worth a try.
Fancy being considered for our next Startup of the Week feature? Here are all the details on how to do that!
