Startup of the Week - Logically

by Startacus Admin

The startup that provides AI generated news, expert analysis & fact checking

Posts go viral, conspiracy stories spread, sources seem credible and we get caught up and wholly believe that what we’ve read or seen has to be the truth.
And let’s face it - how many of us really have the time or the resources to go and do a detailed analysis of every post or article that we read to check its legitimacy.
It’s a problem that urgently needs addressing and thanks to our latest startup of the week, it is!
Logically is an innovative startup that is using AI to help fight the spread of misinformation and provide us with fact-checked news.
The startup uses machine learning models as well as a dedicated team of fact checkers to help ensure that the information we are reading and the images we are seeing is entirely accurate and true.
If you’re unsure or feel a bit suspicious about an article you’ve seen, you can use the Logically app to fact check it. If you’ve seen an image that doesn’t seem quite right, you can use the Image Fact Check feature to see if it’s true or if there has been any manipulation or fake imagery used.
Logically analyses news from thousands of sources, their machine learning algorithms identify the most divergent viewpoints on stories, so you can truly see both sides of a story, from all political and social perspectives and then form your own conclusion.
We are so reliant on information these days for every decision that we make, therefore it is vital that the information we use is accurate and true.
Of course, not only is this important for us as members of the public, it’s also essential for all sorts of organisations - from online platforms and media channels through to brands and governments.
Logically provides a range of services which can be used by them to tackle misinformation and disinformation and ensure that facts are separated from falsehoods.
With the information ecosystem as fractured as it is and with fake news becoming an increasingly serious problem, the solution that this startup has created is absolutely essential.
