Startup of the Week - Letproof

by Startacus Admin
Whether you’ve got a place to rent out or you are actively seeking somewhere new to live, you’ll no doubt be aware that the entire letting process can be a challenging one. The landlord - tenant relationship can be difficult from the off. That however need no longer be the case, thanks to our latest startup of the week.
Letproof is a PropTech startup which is on a mission to disrupt the letting sector and match landlords and tenants directly.
Forget the middleman. Forget the dodgy letting agents. Letproof facilitates direct communication between the two parties who actually matter.
Here’s how it works:
If you are a tenant, simply sign up on the site and then search to identify what available properties meet your requirements. You can filter down and then once you have found a place of interest, you can contact the landlord directly via the platform. Should you wish to find out some more info or instead want to arrange a viewing, that all can be done via Letproof.
Likewise, if you own a property, you can list it on the site and add pics and general info of note.
Interested tenants can contact you directly and you can answer their queries, organise viewings and of course ultimately arrange the letting of your property.
Since it only costs 10p per day to list a property on the Letproof platform, it’s a pretty good option to consider - especially when compared to costly letting agents!
Letproof are simplifying the process of letting for all parties concerned and that can only be a good thing. Wouldn’t you agree?
The short video below will give you a little more insight into how it all works. Since the Letproof folk are currently planning on crowdfunding to help develop the platform further, this might be a good time to find out more about this proptech startup.
