Startup of the Week - Leaf Envy

by Startacus Admin
The lowdown on Leaf Envy, the startup that wants to help us all become plant parents and grow our indoor jungle of dreams...
Even if you don’t have a garden or an outside space, you can still enjoy the joys of nature thanks to indoor plants. Of course, the thing is that many of us assume that we’re just not the green-fingered type and that a plant would simply be a short-lived addition to our homes. We think that it would look good for a week or two and then we’d forget to water it and it would be in a sorry and pretty miserable state. That, however doesn’t have to be the case and it’s something which our latest startup of the week is aiming to solve!
Leaf Envy is a startup that is on a mission to “make plant parenthood simple and take the pain points out of growing your indoor jungle of dreams”.
They are a design-led plant brand that want to help people reconnect with nature and appreciate the joy that plant ownership can bring.
You can buy plants directly from their site and they’ll deliver to your door. And they don’t simply send the plant, they also provide you with detailed care advice and instructions to make looking after your plant a doddle.
They offer all sorts of plants - from Hard to Kill options through to pet friendly varieties - they’ve thought of everything! And they offer plants in all sizes too - so even if you’re a tad limited on space, you’ll find something that suits.
In addition, they also offer a plant subscription service - so if you’d like to start creating your own indoor jungle, or perhaps gift it so a friend can create theirs, you can do just that.
And it doesn’t just stop with the plants - they offer a range of stylish decorative posts and heaps of accessories too - from indoor watering cans through to propagation stations.
It’s been well recognised for a long time that indoor plants have a hugely positive impact on our overall wellbeing, and after the year that we’ve all had, introducing a little Leaf Envy to our homes would surely only be a good thing!
