Startup of the Week - Just Got Made

by Startacus Admin
Over the last few years the UK has seen a real resurgence in small scale manufacturing - with artisan craftspeople and independent designers and makers alike helping to give the economy a well needed creative boost.
This resurgence in ‘making’ has in turn led to the creation of our latest Startup of the Week.
Just Got Made is an online platform where designers and makers can connect and engage directly with the good and services that they need, whilst at the same time being a place that provides real inspiration.
A key element of the site is its directory which is aiming to become both a curated listing of makers, designers and artisan manufacturers from all regions of the UK, as well as the definitive online resource of everything that a modern maker needs - whether that be a workspace provider or the supplier of a particular material.
At the moment the directory is filled with a plethora of craftspeople and makers, with skills in everything from furniture making through to book arts. Like all directories though, the more it’s populated, the more useful a resource it becomes. If you feel therefore that your product or service ought to be listed, it’s time to get on the case!
It’s probably no surprise to many of you that we’re loving what Just Got Made is all about. It’s a site that is not only celebrating and showcasing creativity, it’s also making it easier for makers and designers to simply get things done.
What’s not to love about that…We first came across Just Got Made when they showcased in our Collaboration Space. If you’re a startup looking to tell the world what you’re doing, that’s the place to be! You never know - your startup could become a Startup of the Week in the weeks or months to come…
