Startup of the Week - Jamplify

by Startacus Admin
Whether you’re a musician or a filmmaker, it’s pretty much a given that you’d want your work to get out there, to get recognised and for people to start spreading the word as it were about what you do. Building up a following or a fan base is something that if you’re vying for commercial success ought to be right up there on your agenda.
Word of mouth helps of course as does social media. After all, most of us will generally check out that new band or that new film or video if someone we know and trust recommends it. There’s now also an innovative new platform which not only can help you develop your fan base but also provides a way for those fans to be rewarded for spreading the word.
Jamplify is a social marketing platform which turns fans into active promoters of online content.
Aimed at anyone with content to promote - recording artists, filmmakers or whatever, it is quite straightforward to use.
Simply create a ‘Jampaign” and outline what rewards or ‘Scratchbacks’ you will provide for the fans who drive the most traffic to your content.
As well as earning these rewards, fans can be incentivised further by rising through the ranks of fandom - all the way from Fan to Diehard.
The type of Scratchbacks you offer as well of course as the quality of your work will all play a big part too!
Check out this short video to see how it all works in more detail.

Our thoughts? Well, we’re all for the indies here at Startacus - the people doing it for themselves and when you don’t have the luxury of a multi million pound marketing campaign behind you, tools like Jamplify ought to be welcomed with open arms.
