Let’s face it. Some people are just naturally sporty and partake in all sorts of healthy sporting activities with little or no persuasion. There are plenty of others though who need that extra little bit of motivation and encouragement before they would even dream of doing the same.
Well, whichever of those two groups of people you belong to, our latest Startup of the Week should be right up your street.
imotiva is a club card for active people. In essence every time that you take part in sporting activity, you can track and record that exercise and then start to earn points. Those points can then be exchanged to spend online or with local shops and retailers. Check out the short video below that will explain what it's all about.

As a platform imotiva is potentially offering real value to individuals, sporting clubs and organisations as well as to local and online retailers.
Those set to benefit most though are the people who use the platform to not only get motivated to partake in sport and exercise, but to stay motivated as well.
It is still relatively early days for this startup but the fact that it is already being supported by some of the UK’s leading universities and by organisations such as the Luke Adams Foundation in Australia is surely a major vote of confidence.
