Startup of the Week - Illumicrate

by Startacus Admin
Bibliophiles take note - this one’s for you.
Why?
Because reading and the joy that it brings is at the very core of our latest Startup of the Week.
Illumicrate is a subscription service for book lovers.
Here’s how it works.
Subscribe to the service and every quarter you will receive a crate filled with all sorts of book goodies. There’ll be at least one newly released book (of course) as well as 3-4 other book related products, such as bookmarks, tote bags, stationery or prints.
By working directly with both publishers and independent suppliers, the Illumicrate team aim to ensure that each quarter’s box contains exclusive content and unique items that aren’t available elsewhere.

Each quarter’s subscription costs £29.99 and as you’d expect it’s also available to purchase as a gift for the bookworm in your life.
Whilst technology has had a huge impact on reading in recent years with the advent of e-readers, we reckon it’s a tad refreshing to see a startup embracing the traditional - the printed book and the good ol’ postal service!
Illumicrate - we like what you’re about!
