Startup of the Week - Good Club

by Startacus Admin
The Good Club is a startup and online platform that is on a mission to make good, sustainable and organic food and groceries accessible to all
Whilst we may be fully aware of the impact that our purchases can have on the world at large and we’re generally better informed than ever before, most of us could still try that bit harder when it comes to shopping sustainably. And the thing is, all we really need to do is to adjust our shopping routines a little and rethink our buying habits and collectively we can make a big impact. The good news is that our latest startup of the week can help us do just that!
The Good Club is a startup and online platform that is on a mission to make good, sustainable and organic food and groceries accessible to all.
They’ve created an online members-only store that enables members to buy wholesome, ethical and sustainable grocery products at wholesale prices - products are generally up to 40% lower than standard retail or supermarket prices.
As a member, you’ll be able to purchase all sorts of products - from store cupboard essentials through to household cleaning products and personal care items. There is a wide range of products available - made all the more impressive since they are all sustainably produced.
Membership is currently available for just £30 annually - working out at £2.50 per month and there is also an introductory free 30 day trial. And with the savings you’ll make on the items you buy, you'll save much more than your membership fee over the course of a year. And if you're from a low income family, you can contact the team directly about availing of free membership.
All members receive one free delivery each month and all orders are packaged in 100% recyclable and recycled cardboard and paper and delivered by the UK's premier carbon neutral courier. At the moment deliveries can be made throughout the UK mainland although plans are in place to extend this to include Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands and the Channel Islands soon.
We love the Good Club's mission and its goal of making sustainable shopping accessible to all. And the fact that it can help us all to reduce our impact on the planet can surely only be a good thing...
