Startup of the Week - Flyte

by Startacus Admin

As we’re all aware, the use of drones in commercial businesses is quite literally on the rise.
All sorts of enterprises are embracing the innovative technology - from construction companies to media outlets. However, no matter what the sector, advance planning of all drone flights is an absolute must.
Whilst such flight planning is generally considered to be a pretty complex affair, that need no longer be the case thanks to our latest startup of the week.
Flyte is an innovative new platform which is on a mission to provide “seamless flight planning for commercial drone projects”.

Flyte provides drone pilots with up to the minute info on everything from temporary flight restrictions to ground hazards within the airspace they plan to use.
Flight plans and logs can be stored on the platform and there is also an integrated hardware management system so that details of flights and any issues with damages or repairs can be recorded and tracked easily.
There are a range of subscription options catering for all types of users and Flyte has also been accredited as one of the inaugural apps on the first ever Drone app store by DroneDeploy.
What we also like is the fact that the Flyte folk can tailor particular features of the platform to suit either your own business’ needs or the needs of a client.
Whether you have one drone within your organisation or you have an entire fleet, Flyte will certainly make the management of this function of your business a whole lot easier.
We reckon this is one SaaS startup whose stock has the potential to go up...
Check out the short video below which will give you a little further insight into what it’s all about.
