Startup of the Week - Flying Vinyl

by Startacus Admin
Love discovering new music? Then we reckon that our latest Startup of the Week will be right up your street.
Flying Vinyl is an innovative new startup which is on a mission to help us all discover the best new alternative music in the UK today - and they’re doing this by creating a subscription based service.
In essence, if you sign up as a member and agree to pay a monthly subscription, you will in turn receive a box each month filled with 7” vinyl records from some of the best new talent from the British alternative scene.
Each box will contain at least five 7” records featuring two tracks from each artist. What is particularly good is the fact that the records you receive will be extremely exclusive as they will never be released on vinyl again.
The service does not officially launch until June when the first boxes will be despatched. If you sign up before that, you’ll be able to avail of the special ‘lifetime discount’ offer where you’ll pay only £20 per month as your subscription fee. If you’re interested in joining, it’s perfect timing then!
Once you do register, the Flying Vinyl team will contact you to find out a little more about your musical tastes and preferences, in order to ensure that you get the best out of their service.
It’s great to see a startup which is both encouraging people to listen to new music but which is also enabling them to do it on good old vinyl.
For that alone, we’re loving their work…
