Startup of the Week - Floom

by Startacus Admin
Our latest startup of the week, Floom is a service which enables users to send the most stunning floral bouquets which have been created by local independent & artisanal florists.
It's pretty much a given that fresh flowers are one of the most welcomed gifts - whether they're for a special birthday, to mark a particular occasion or simply to cheer someone up a little.
Of course it can be frustrating when you make the effort to order flowers for that special someone and when they arrive they're anything but special. The recipient may not complain - after all it's the thought that counts - however for the sender it's pretty disappointing to see a bunch of weary looking blooms rather than the beautiful bouquet you had in mind when you'd placed the order.
Help however is now at hand thanks to our latest startup of the week.
Floom is a service which enables users to send the most stunning floral bouquets which have been created by local independent and artisanal florists.
The flowers delivered will be exactly as featured on the Floom site - not poor imitations! No generic boring bouquets here either. Each arrangement is unique and fully exudes the creativity of the florist behind it.
Of course if you are an independent florist, Floom can be an excellent way of you expanding your customer base and showcasing your creations to a much wider audience.
Simply register your interest on the Floom site and then once you've been approved, simply wait for the orders of your floral masterpieces to come in!
We love the fact that Floom is not only shaking up a pretty traditional industry but that it is also supporting independents and creatives to keep doing their own thing.
Check Floom out for yourself - “the finest flowers at your fingertips’”...
