Startup of the Week - Flexiwage

by Startacus Admin
Let’s face it - we’ve all been there at one time or another. Patiently counting down the days until we get paid again. And it’s something which as an employee, is pretty much out of our control.
After all, in most cases, we start a job, are given a salary and then our employer decides how and when they will pay us.
Although we might be able to negotiate the odd pay rise, we can’t really influence that other important factor - when we actually get paid!
That however need no longer be the case thanks to our latest Startup of the Week.
Flexiwage is an innovative app which enables employees to decide when they get paid.

No more need for eking out the pennies in the last week of the month, no more need for borrowing from a friend or even worse taking out a payday loan!
With Flexiwage, you can arrange to have your salary paid weekly so that you can budget properly and have money when you need it.
For an employer, Flexiwage offers other benefits. It can help reduce the costs of payroll admin and also can help with increasing cashflow at particular times in the month. Most importantly however is the fact that it is an excellent “financial wellness” benefit which they can offer to their employees. Stress of any kind can have a negative impact on an employee and financial stress is no different. By empowering employees to have a little bit more control over their salary like this, employers adopting Flexiwage are not only helping the employees, but ultimately are helping their business too. A happy workforce is priceless, wouldn’t you agree?
Flexiwage is available for both iOS and Android and works with all payroll systems, so its implementation for both employer and employee couldn’t be easier.
Flexiwage is one to watch - that’s for sure!
In the meantime why not take a look at the short videos from Richard and Bob below which will give you a little further insight into what it’s all about.
