Whether you’re the competitive sort who always strives to be the best or you simply have a skill, talent or a penchant for something weird and wonderful, we reckon that our latest Startup of the Week will be right up your street. FightMe is a social network with a difference. It is an interactive network and iOS app where you can showcase your talents and creativity and set challenges for others to follow or if you prefer, join in with challenges that other users have set. It features everything from people playing the #ukelele through to those partaking in a little #creativeskateboarding - the possibilities are kinda limitless.
Here’s in essence how it works.
You simply record a 30 second unedited video of you doing whatever it is that you do, then add some tags and hashtags - either your own or ones that are already being used. That’s basically it! Other users will then show their appreciation as they ‘applaud’ the videos that they like most. The videos which generate the most applause rise to the top of the FightMe leaderboards. Simples!
The short video below highlights just a few of the users so far and the sorts of skills that are being featured.
Admittedly there are lots of places online where we can all showcase our talents these days but they don’t all have the added competitive aspect that FightMe offers. It’s still early days for this innovative app but we reckon it’s one to watch.
