Startup of the Week - Feedback Fast

by Startacus Admin
Let’s face it - for many of us, presenting to an audience can be a pretty daunting affair. However, whether it’s a promotional sales presentation or a pitch to investors, getting it right matters.
Whilst admittedly practice can make perfect, so too can getting good honest feedback and constructive suggestions on how we can improve. Getting that feedback isn’t always easy though - our nearest and dearest aren’t generally the most objective are they?
Well...thanks to our latest Startup of the Week, getting feedback about our presentations and pitches has just become a whole lot easier.
Feedback Fast is an iOS app which in essence allows people to view your presentation and give anonymous feedback on how they felt you did.
The app records a video of you presenting and you get a link for that presentation which you can send to people whose feedback you would like to receive. During your presentation, the audience can either add short comments or simply press ‘like’ or ‘meh’ buttons to indicate how they feel.
As they watch your presentation in real time they’re anonymously giving you direct feedback.
Once you’ve finished, you can view their feedback and see how they responded throughout - all their reactions are time-stamped at the correct place in the recorded video.
The short video below gives a little more detail on how it all works:
Feedback Fast
For a startup, having such feedback can be invaluable and one of the best ways to hone those all important presentation skills.
If you feel that you could do with a little objective critique on your own presentation or pitching skills, we reckon that Feedback Fast is a tool well worth looking at…
