Startup of the Week - Explore Corner

by Startacus Admin
Here at Startacus we love nothing more than getting out the flip flops, bucket and spade and hitting the sand - when we get the chance that is! After all, who doesn’t love beaches? Really??
Well, if you don’t, you probably just haven’t found the right one for you!
You might think that beaches are all the same; sand, water and the occasional ice cream van nearby. However, around the globe, there are all sorts of beaches, all unique in their own way, so visiting all of them to find the one that’s right for you could turn into quite a chore. Until now that is...thanks to our latest Startup of the Week.
Explore Corner is a new online platform which is to all intents and purposes, a beach travel guide. Yep, it’s a place where you can find out about all sorts of beaches from all around the world.
The site is currently in Beta, and the team are right now collating as much data as possible about beaches - everything from photos and details of transportation links, through to the activities which are available - whether it’s fishing or surfing, they’re on a mission to find out - a mission which we’re sure you can imagine may take some time!
Explore Corner have also taken out the stress of you finding accommodation near your fave seaside resort. When you find the beach of your dreams, you can simply select the dates you plan to go, how many of you are going and you’ll be directed straight through to a travel booking site which will list details on all the hotels, B & B’s and other accommodation you could possibly consider.
So we reckon you should go find your swimming gear, pack some sandwiches and go straight to Explore Corner, choose your beach and get going. The summer will be ending before we know it, so catch some rays and waves while you can!
