Startup of the Week - Eola

by Startacus Admin
Finding and booking adventure sports just became a whole lot easier, thanks to startup Eola, an online discovery platform and marketplace aimed at “connecting activity centres with modern day enthusiasts”.
With summer almost here, many of us may be thinking about spending our free time outdoors

Of course, whilst we may have the best intentions, it can often become a chore when it comes down to the organising side of things. That thankfully is what our latest startup of the week is aiming to address.
Eola is an online discovery platform aimed at “connecting activity centres with modern day enthusiasts”.
In essence the platform is a marketplace for adventure sports schools from all across the UK and Ireland. Schools can use Eola to promote their activities and the range of services they provide.
Users can then make direct bookings to the schools and pay for whatever activities they wish to partake in.
As you can see therefore, It’s a pretty straightforward concept! What is particularly good about Eola is that it is relieving the burden for all. Adventure sports enthusiasts can find, book and pay for activities easily whilst adventure sports centres and schools can manage their bookings, reservations and the entire customer administrative process in a much more efficient way.
The result?
More time can be spent actually taking part in or teaching the fab activities, as opposed to endless online searching or undertaking the often very dull admin.
As with all two-sided marketplace platforms, the more people use it the better it becomes.
It may be still relatively early days for this startup but we reckon it’s one to watch…
