Startup of the Week - Emble

by Startacus Admin
Remember when getting together with a group of friends was a pretty straightforward affair?
Now it generally seems that it can be a well nigh impossible task. Getting everyone in the one place and at the one time can be a challenge to say the least. And as for everyone agreeing what you’ll all do or where you’ll all go? Let’s not even go there!
Well, thanks to an innovative new startup planning events with friends, family or colleagues has just become a whole lot easier.
Emble is an app which enables you to plan and run amazing events quickly and easily, so you can focus on what matters: having more fun with your friends.
Here’s how it works:
Firstly there is a planning stage whereby you can make some suggestions for events, dates and activities etc, and then allow your ‘invitees’ to vote on what they’d prefer. The most popular idea? Well that’s the winner of course!
When it comes to the actual organisation of the event itself, Emble allows you to do everything from inviting friends and family through your social media networks or emails through to collecting money in advance of the day itself if that happens to be needed.
The premise of course is to take the hassle out of organising events and get-togethers like this and to make the whole thing fun again.
Emble will be launching in private beta in June so if you’d like to try it for yourself, now’s the time!
We reckon this’ll be one to watch. And watch it we shall! And use it too of course...Like finding out about innovative startups? Why not check out our previous Startup of the Week.
