Startup of the Week - Decorator's Notebook
by Startacus Admin
Into interior design or simply on the lookout for a new accessory to enhance your home? There are of course a plethora of places where you can look - some obviously a lot better than others!
Our latest Startup of the Week is one such place and they’re on a mission to prove that design, quality and ethics can go hand in hand.
Decorator’s Notebook is an online platform where you can discover and buy unique and contemporary home accessories - accessories which have been sourced from fairtrade groups, artisan co-operatives and social enterprises from all around the world.
The Decorator’s Notebook team are committed to supporting independent artisans and designers. By providing a global platform from which their products can be sold, they’re helping these artisans to increase their incomes and ultimately to sustain and grow their businesses. This in turn can have a huge impact on their mindset and of course on their lives and their communities.
All products featured are individually handmade and use traditional craft techniques and skills. No shoddy workmanship here! It’s all about unique pieces which simply ooze quality.
Every item sold via the Decorator’s Notebook site is helping bringing positive change to an independent artisan somewhere in the world. Wouldn’t it be great if we could say the same for every purchase we ever made!
In essence, Decorator’s Notebook is a startup which is helping other startups to thrive and grow - for that reason alone, we’re loving their work...
