Startup of the Week - Crowdsurfer

by Startacus Admin
If you’ve been considering using the power of the ‘crowd’ to help finance your business, you’ll have perhaps been a tad confused at the sheer amount of places and platforms that you could potentially use.
However, thanks to our latest Startup of the Week, identifying which crowd or peer-to-peer finance option would be best for you and your business has become a whole lot easier.
Crowdsurfer is a search engine for crowdfunding for projects.
The site currently has info on over 800 different crowdfunding and peer-to-peer financing sites for you to trawl through. Of course thanks to the user-friendly search function, that ‘trawling’ couldn’t be easier - simply search and select sites based on a whole host of criteria - be that their type, the geographical areas that they cover, or even who they are regulated by.
Crowdsurfer isn’t only a niche search engine though - it also has Matchmaker - an inbuilt function where you can promote your project, startup or fundraising need and let the funders come to you.
Add your listing for free and it’ll remain on there for 30 days - perfect time for you to assess what level of interest there would be in your project and gauge its potential.
Since making things easier for self starters is pretty much our own mission here at Startacus, it’ll come as no surprise to hear that we like Crowdsurfer. Lots.
If financing your project is high on your agenda at the moment, we reckon you’ll like it lots too.
