Startup of the Week - Collectiviti

by Startacus Admin

Need to generate more sales for your startup? This platform could be for you - it links startups directly with sales professionals.
Let's face it - if your startup is going to really succeed, you'll need to ensure that you're selling your products or services to the right customers or clients. If you've got the commercial knowhow to do just that, great; if you don't, then you'll need to set about getting those skills as soon as you can. After all, acquiring customers and generating revenue is paramount.
If however sales aren't necessarily your forte, you're going to love our latest startup of the week.
Collectiviti is on a mission to help other startups generate sales by linking them directly with sales professionals.
Here's how it works:
Simply create a profile on the platform and add your project. You can then search for sales professionals with experience in your particular sector. Find someone of interest? Send them a connection request. If they confirm your request, you can then pay the referral fee and your work together can properly begin.
If on the other hand you're a sales professional, you can add a profile on the site, highlight your particular business development skills or knowledge of certain sectors or niches and hopefully be discovered by startups in need of your skillset.
For many companies, availing of the services of a recruitment agency when they're in need of a particular skilled employee is the norm. However, if you're a startup, the fees generally associated with a recruitment agency can be somewhat prohibitive.
Collectiviti therefore is providing a similar service but on a much more economical scale.
As with all platforms like this, the more their userbase grows, the more valuable they become.
The key thing in this case though is the knock-on effect that Collectiviti's growth and success will also have on other startups. Collectiviti - we're loving your work!
