Startup of the Week - Coconut

by Startacus Admin
As any business owner will attest to, time is money, however, if you are self-employed that is particularly true. And, if there is a product, tool or service that can help you save some precious time, it will enable you to get on with other things - like running and growing the business, for instance!
Our latest startup of the week provides one such product.
Coconut is “a smart accounting tool for self-employed people”.
This innovative app enables users to manage all of the financial admin aspects of their business in one place.
It’s just a matter of connecting your bank account and then you can do everything from attaching your receipts and sending invoices through to monitoring how much tax you owe. Your bookkeeping function is fully automated, leaving you more time to get on with the parts of the business that you actually enjoy!
Your accountant will thank you too since Coconut helps to remove so many laborious manual paperwork tasks and the incessant need to chase you up for receipts or invoices!
There are two packages available with Coconut, namely Start and Grow. The Start plan is free and is suited to anyone who has a side hustle or who is part-time self-employed; the Grow plan on the other hand costs just £5 per month and provides all the tax and accounting tools for full-time self-employed people. There is therefore an option to suit everyone!
Whether you’re a sole trader, a freelancer or a contractor, this product will most certainly make your life easier. And with all self-employed people and business owners in general having such a challenging year this year, we reckon that there could be no better time to try it out.
We also reckon that the Coconut team are well on the way to their aim of “building the ultimate accounting and tax tool for self-employed people”.
Try it out and see for yourself …
