Startup of the Week - Campsited

by Startacus Admin
Let’s face it, when you have to book a hotel or an apartment, you can do it pretty easily. There are a plethora of websites out there covering all destinations, budgets and other requirements.
However if camping is more your thing, it’s an entirely different matter. It can be an altogether frustrating and time consuming affair - whether you’re searching for a camp site on which to pitch your one man tent or you are looking for an upmarket glamping experience for the family.
Now however thanks to our latest Startup of the Week, it has just become a whole lot easier.
Campsited is a platform which enables campers and holiday seekers to find and book campsites, touring parks and holiday parks.
As with any travel accommodation site, you simply enter your preferred dates, your party size and the area you would like to travel to. From those search results, you can then get a more detailed lowdown on what’s available. All sorts of places are listed - from traditional caravan parks to much quirkier glamping facilities.
You can of course refine your search results so that you have a list which more fully meets your needs. So whether having wi-fi access is an absolute must or you need to be beside a golf course, you’ll be able to find it here.
For camping novices and seasoned campers alike, the platform is a great resource.
Likewise, for campsite owners, the platform provides a great way of helping them to both advertise and promote their facilities as well as manage their bookings.
A win win for all concerned then!
At the moment, Campsited has a focus on facilities in the UK and Ireland but we reckon they’ll be expanding to other countries before too long. Time to find out what they're all about and get planning those breaks in the great outdoors!
