Startup of the Week - Buildupp

by Startacus Admin
Whilst construction is one of the most diverse industrial sectors, it hasn’t always been the most innovative. Tradition rather than disruption has been paramount. However our latest startup of the week is on a mission to change all that and in so doing aims to address many of the industry’s efficiency problems and challenges.
Buildupp is a new platform which hopes to become “the single online network for everyone in the building industry to find, connect and work with one another”.
The platform has 3 main objectives for construction professionals, enabling them to:
- Assemble the Perfect Team
- Browse through thousands of projects
- Market their own services and products
Clients and Project Managers alike can use the platform to identify and source other construction professionals - from architects to specialist subcontractors - they’re all here. Users can see what previous projects those listed have undertaken, with whom they have worked in the past and also reviews of the services they have provided.
However, Buildupp is not only a source of useful info on other construction professionals, it also facilitates communication and collaboration between those professionals. The platform can be used therefore to help put together the perfect potential team for any specific project.
The platform also aims to benefit all construction professionals by providing them with an entirely new way of promoting their service or product to a targeted and relevant customer base.
Of course, as is the case with all platforms like this, the more users that it has, the better it becomes and the more valuable it proves to be for those users.
If you’re involved in the construction sector, we reckon you might want to get on board now - this startup is one to watch...
And if construction is your thing, you might want to read our recent feature on Arckit which allows anyone to build a DIY 3D model of their dream home, street, or even city.
