Startup of the Week - Bright Paper Packages

by Startacus Admin
The festive season is upon us once more and so too is the time honoured tradition of exchanging gifts. Whilst there are some people who are relatively easy to buy gifts for, there are others who are anything but! You know the type - ask them for a hint as to what they’d like and they’ll simply reply “Surprise me”!
Well, thanks to our latest Startup of the Week, you can buy them a gift which surprises them the whole year long!
Bright Paper Packages is a new subscription startup which sends out a parcel of surprise treats each and every month.
Whilst there are lots of subscription services out there, where this one differs is that each parcel is filled with a really varied array of products. You could receive anything from artisan coffee to handmade jewellery in any given month. All products featured have been sourced from individual artists, makers and small business from around the UK - people who are truly creative and doing their own thing.
To give you an example of typical contents, November’s parcel contained the following:
- Hand-poured French cassis & fig scented soy candle from Hobo Soy Candles
- Hand-made "The Story So Far" ceramic bookmark from Delphine & Max
- 100ml amber glass bottle of natural Hibernate bath oil, in lemon, lavender & clary sage scent, specially made for Bright Paper Packages by The Soap Shop Ltd
- 90g bar of organic hazelnut & Isle of Skye sea salt milk chocolate from Coco Chocolatier
- A selection of 6 whole leaf silk pyramid bags of organic tea from English Tea Shop
Now, wouldn’t we all like to receive a parcel like that!
As with most subscription services, you can buy it for a single month or on a 3, 6 or 12 month basis. Of course you may prefer to treat yourself to a subscription too! A me gift if you like!
We like the the fact that Bright Paper Packages are helping to support a whole heap of independent makers and creatives and are offering such a wide variety of curated products. Since they say that variety is the spice of life, we reckon that Bright Paper Packages could be onto a winner…
