Startup of the Week - BRB

by Startacus Admin
Holiday planning made easy thanks to new travel startup BRB, which is in essence the world’s first travel subscription company.

And of course if you’re too busy to even get round to doing any of that, chances are the months will slip by and you then realise that you’re not going to get a break this year at all!
Help is now at hand however thanks to our latest startup of the week.
BRB (BeRightBack) is an innovative new startup which is in essence “the world’s first travel subscription company”.
It’s a pretty simple yet brilliant concept.
When you join, you pay a subscription fee of £49.99 per month. You then choose the type of trips you enjoy - whether that’s all about culture, the beach or action or whatever - you decide. You can also create a bucket-list of those places you’ve always wanted to visit.
Finally you select which airports you would fly from (currently these are all UK mainland airports).
You then select your dates and when you’d like to travel.
One month before that date, you’ll receive a postcard with your destination and a personalised message as to why the BRB team have selected that destination for you.
Full details of your trip are then revealed - flight and accommodation info and of course the destination! You’ll also receive guides and practical hints and tips on the selected location. All accommodation is 3*+, centrally based and will have received a minimum of a 3.5 rating on TripAdvisor. You can be assured therefore that you’ll be staying somewhere decent! All trips are 3 day/2 night breaks and you can add a friend to a trip and simply pay a one-off fee. Generally speaking, each trip will typically work out at around £199.
An annual subscription entitles you to 3 short breaks per year - i.e. one every 4 months. You can however cancel the subscription at any time, so you are not under any obligation to retain your membership for a minimum time period.
BRB currently has over 50 destinations available on the site and more are being added all the time.
You’ll never be given a trip to the same place twice, unless of course you want to!
We think that the BRB concept is fab.
After all, you simply pay a very reasonable monthly subscription and in return receive 3 short European breaks a year. No hassle. No stress. Just surprise holidays!
What’s not to love about that!
