Startup of the Week - Bibblio

by Startacus Admin

Whilst formal education has its place, there can be no denying that the internet has opened up a whole new way of learning for us all. Whether that entails watching a YouTube video or looking at a Slideshare presentation, the possibilities are pretty much endless. Bibblio

Of course with the plethora of resources which exist, trawling through to find the right content for you can be both daunting and a chore.
Our latest Startup of the Week, however is on a mission to change just that.

Bibblio is an innovative new platform which aims to make sourcing and discovering free learning materials easier than ever.

In essence, Bibblio is like a virtual learning library - it indexes material that currently exists online, across various different formats and platforms - from Vimeo to Soundcloud.
Rather than having to search through each of those platforms individually, Bibblio users can find and browse learning materials in one definitive location.

Another great feature of Bibblio is the fact that users can upload their own content and create collections or ‘playlists for learning which can in turn be shared with other users.
By enabling such a collaborative approach to curation, Bibblio is fully embracing open education and making it more accessible than ever.
That can only be a good thing, wouldn’t you agree?

Check out the short video below to get a little more insight into how it works.
